Emily is a godsend. In 2015, I desperately needed a roommate. Barely hours after praying for one, Emily messaged me to see if I wanted to move in. We raised heck for the next two years until I married Justyn. She and her husband Shawn are still two of my dearest friends. I call them Shemily (not my creation) and I was honored to witness their wedding.
Emily and Shawn had a quiet celebration with plenty of bohemian flavor. Surrounded by a small group of their loved ones - and gorgeous exposed cliff faces - they said their vows in the lush green fields behind her parents' upstate New York home. After an intimate dinner party, courtesy of Emily's gourmet family, everyone celebrated under the stars with mulled wine, a bonfire, and a spice cake that the newlyweds made themselves. It was magical.
