Kari and Sean hadn't planned for a tiny wedding, but COVID forced them to rethink their entire day. Instead of the large, swanky wedding they'd arranged, they found a gorgeous estate for their intimate ceremony - just bridal party, family, and a couple of friends - and chose Malone's Prime Events to host their reception. No fuss, no frills. Just the two of them and the people they love best.
Plenty of snags popped up - Sean badly injured his left foot the day before the wedding, Kari's makeup artist contracted COVID, and Sean's custom jacket arrived in the mail soaking wet - but the newlyweds stayed positive and focused on each other. Kari enjoyed a sweet first look with both her bio dad and stepdad, and the couple's dogs were included in their bridal party. They also surprised their out of town guests with gift buckets full of all things Kentucky.
We ended the day back at the estate, where everyone relaxed and partied into the night. Kari kicked up her pearl-studded Vans (which she handmade), and Sean lit up a cigar with his crew. Hella glamorous.
Destiny of Destiny Smith Photography was a godsend. 99% of the time she was already getting stuff done before I could ask her to step in! #hero
