Did you know you could drink wine for your engagement shoot?
Yes. Yes you can.
I'm always itching to try a lifestyle engagement shoot - you know, the kind you see all over IG and Pinterest, with cute couples baking in their kitchen, picnicking in a field, or perching on bicycles on an abandoned road. So when Taylor said she and her fiancee Cole wanted to do a fire-brewing s'mores roasting tent-pitching setup in their session, I was like, "Let's do it."
Clifty Falls is a sprawling Indiana state park featuring multiple waterfalls and a canyon, all easily viewed throughout the moderate hiking trails. We hiked off trail to access the smaller waterfall, which sits nestled at the bottom of a tiny rocky valley. I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you're already comfortable hiking and have solid footwear with you, but it sure does make for a gorgeous backdrop!
Taylor's dad helped stoke the fire while Taylor's mom wrangled Taylor's bulldog, Pete. Once the fire was ablaze, the couple enjoyed Pete snuggles and messy s'mores, all while cuddling in the campfire glow.
