Some couples plan Pride and Prejudice-esque weddings, and some feel like they actually drifted out of an Austenian novel. This is precisely how I feel about Kerry and Samuel. A quietly passionate couple, they are so in tune with each other that every look, every touch is full of love and meaning. I barely had to pose them since they moved together so organically (a photog’s dream!). Their wedding was a dream as well - historic venue, lace and leather details, and abundant natural light. The ceremony, like their love, centered on Christ, including communion and a participatory prayer for the guests to bless the new marriage. After their reception, the newlyweds took a sunset stroll through the fields for more portraits (read: playtime for me). And at last, after months of long-distance love, these two began their marriage in one home. I think after all, fairy tales do come true.
