I used to be intimidated about maternity shoots. I mean, how many shots can you take of a baby bump, no matter how cute it is?? So for this shoot, I took to heart some advice I'd read from stellar artist Brandi Potter of From Moonlight.
Pose them the same as any couple.
Cool. I can pose couples. So while I made sure to have Miranda rest her hand on her belly at all times (it was a maternity shoot, after all!) I guided the session like I would any other - encouraging intimate moments between couples.
This session was especially meaningful as Miranda and Derek were expecting their rainbow baby. After a season of heartache, they were ready to rejoice again. Baby Eloise Beare is now earthside and brings her parents so much joy!
