Ellie and Chase wanted to honor their loved ones for being in their lives - and for traveling to their destination wedding. So they turned their celebration into a weeklong affair, with family and friends trickling in each day to help them prepare.
They arranged for a bonfire and beer the night before the wedding. A feast of fresh local seafood during cocktail hour. And instead of a send-off, the newlyweds spent the night dancing and laughing with whoever wanted to stay up with them. Joylily Young (my second) and I could feel the love surrounding them.
I know that love will insulate their life together.
