Some couples choose a location for their engagement shoot because it's lovely; others because they've made memories there. Kori and Austin did both - the Ashland estate has provided a beautiful backdrop to many of their picnics together. And who could blame them? Ashland is home to gorgeous grounds, including a darling garden. The garden closes at 4pm, so we weren't able to use it for our golden hour shoot, but who needs a garden when you have sprawling grounds like these?
Fortunately, the weather had just turned, so we happened upon a glorious mess of golden leaves as we strolled across the property. Kori and Austin trusted me enough to play with the leaves and even smooch in a hollow tree. I'm so excited for their wedding later this year!
